Has anyone purchased a new one recently? Is the stock color lighter (like in some of the pics online) or is it a darker brown, more along the lines of the B-30's I've seen pictures of? I've been thinking of getting one cause the price is still good and hopefully Mike Melick(sp) still has some left. I know they are long (~49 in), but I thought it might be a good fixer/ tinker project. Anyone got opinions or thoughts to weigh in? It's either that or I go for the Wally World Crosman Titan.

The stock is light. Its a good gun and a great tinker. The best thing you can do is when you get it first take it apart (If MM didn't do it for you) and clean /lube/deburr. Mine snaped the guide spring in about 4 shot from dieseling. It had brown oil like crud in it. RWS tune parts/seals fit great.

I would post a pic ,but I bought a car from a friend of mine and he gave me a great deal at the time he was looking for a airgun so it kinda went with the deal.
