Reposting Paolo Amedeo's report - match was shot 8/4/2018
---------------------------------------
Finally, after three weeks of almost constant rain, we had a day with perfect weather. Ten shooters showed up for the match. Hunter-division shooters made up half of the population. For scoring purposes, WFTF and Open shooters were merged into Open division, with three PCP and two piston shooters.
Lighting condition were fairly tricky due to the passage of a few thick clouds. No much wind, but enough breeze to push you off the kill-zone on far targets, if you weren’t paying enough attention to it.
The average course difficulty not corrected for lighting conditions was 28.5T, with a total of five targets at or above 40T (max 46.8T).
As usual we had a lot of fun and we concluded with the traditional BBQ.
Note of the following changes to our calendar:
The fun shoot at the end of this month has been canceled.
The next regular match will be Sunday, September 16 (it was originally scheduled as FT clinic).
See you next month!
