Ron.. the Aspen requires more oil than a normal pumper. 6 drops of silicone oil every 300 shots (2000 pumps).
Maybe download the manual and pass it on as well.
That will be the second happiest day with my Aspen, when I sell it.That such a POS could be so popular shows there might be a market for one that is designed to purge moisture and built with parts that last a decade. Maybe Crosman/Benjamin or Daisy could field that; they seem to know about cheap pumpers that last far too long for their weight.
After replacing the valve assy, I replaced the 3 O-rings on the barrel in the breech block. No more leaks.Holds air indefinitely........First pump stroke is a struggle, then it is fine.Gonna list it on the bay, but would sell here if anyone is interested...
I filled to 2K, took a few shots, then hand pumped back to 1500.........

Yup the air tube works on a smaller version of the Umarex ever pressure system in the Origin.
I disassembled the balancer tube...it wasn't holding air and was permitting the main reservoir to bleed down thru the balancer tube.I replaced every O-ring that I could....all except 1.........It is in the check valve and that is where the leak is........So..............Maybe a call to AV will happen when they open.........Closing in, or at least, so I hope......
