Any AGer's close to Memphis and know some good spots to go hunting in any info would be appreciated as im new to this and really dont know where to go because backyards dont yield enough nutters and pests for me. :'(

I'm about 30 minutes out of Memphis. We have a few different places to shoot. Lots of woods and land out this way. I'm out of town til 17 April but if you want to team up and do some shooting, let me know....

I'm surprised there isn't. The little town I live in has a "no discharging of airguns" ordinance.
I don't think MPD would care as long as no one is complaining. I spent the better part of my youth running around WhiteHaven with a Crossman multipump. Just keep it low key.

From mememphis as well, new to the air gun scene, but loving it so far, just got my cricket yesterday, took the day off just to play with it, I know some areas right outside of Memphis to go hunting (horn lake area)

Memphis Airgunner here. i live in memphis with a great hidden hunting spot with plenty land. let me hear from you been looking for some airgun hunting buddys.

Memphis here ,Im a newb to AG...back in the summer cleaning house, came across my 1994 nickel 397p Sheridan bought for an old pest problem back in the day....11 guns later I guess im hooked....not a hunter...just a poormans backyard plinker....Happy Shooting...

Jackson, TN area myself. Think we have enough members in the West TN area to have a local shooting event.

From Memphis municipality codes: Sec. 10-32-1. - Air guns—Discharge prohibited—Exception.
It shall be a misdemeanor for any person to discharge within the limits of the city any air gun, air pistol, air rifle or BB gun, capable of discharging a metal bullet or pellet, whether propelled by spring, compressed air, expanding gas (CO2), explosive, or other force-producing means or method, except within a legally established target range or shooting gallery.
(Code 1967, § 22-3; Code 1985, § 20-3)

If y'all get anything going please share with the Arkansas area too, not many of us but a few that would probably like to try and join in the fun. It's not to far of a drive from here

The police do not look at BB guns the same as Firearms. Considering the amount of firearm discharges that occur daily within the city. I like the idea of a "Legally established...range..."

Hey guys, if any of y'all over in the Memphis area are up for a hour drive to the Jonesboro area I've got a good range lined up that we're trying to get a fun shoot together for, looking for input and dates.

I'm just north of Memphis and have an airgun buddy in Marion. Although no real place to shoot. Would be very interested in a shooting event close by. A November Saturday would be good - but not Thanksgiving weekend.

Absolutely, Saturday or Sunday, name the time and day.
And if anyone in Memphis area wants to get together to just plink, let me know.

Thank you for input, this will definitely be a weekend thing when we get it going. As for dates I should of specified that we'll be looking do do this in the 2017 spring so we have time to truly get this set up and get the word out about what's going on. If enough people show an interest right now I'm sure we could have a fall shoot as well, I'm just worried if we try to rush it not many folks will be able to make it.
