H55 - H90 gas ram conversion

If you wish to replace the spring from H55 - H90 with a Crosman nitro piston, here is the diagram to assist you. I have replaced all the springs in my Hatsans to gas ram using Crosman nitro pistons. Just to update the diagram below. The part No. shown in the diagram is the Crosman nitro piston from the Benji Allweather. You can replace this gas ram with the latest nitro 2. Both are about the same dimensions, so it will not pose any problems. However, if you wish to replace the vortex gas ram, you need a longer backstop. Note the three holes of the back stop in the diagram. This is a tat longer than the one that comes with the vortex gas ram.

Thank you for the diagram. I wonder if this could work in a dominator200.
That brass centering block would be easy for a person to make at home.
For those who don't know, brass is rather easy to work compared to harder metals.

I like your idea of placing the body of the gas ram in the piston. Good work !
