I only get out for 3-4 hours, but it does recharge my spirit.Quote from: avator on January 06, 2019, 05:22:30 PMDinh, you need to go on that "The Last Alaskan" show.I watch those shows and fantasize about living that way. However, I'm not sure if I could endure that type of lifestyle after the honeymoon stage ends and the struggles lingers. I'm just happy to be playing in the woods, and then coming back to civilization once I get cold, tired, and out of food Now, that show "Alone", I would love to give a shot.
I miss being a young man like you. Brings back a lot of memories...only difference...sardines, vienna sausage, & potted meat. Keep living the dream. They'll be with you always.
^^^Very nice looking dish!I have to ask...what sardines do you like most? Most I eat taste like cardboard dipped in oil.
Jalapeño Cheddar Cheese Poppers from Walmart for $1.00/box of 6-8. Absolutely scrumptious when dipped in Buttermilk Ranch dressing and chased with Margaritas.
Susan made carnitas in the Instant Pot for dinner tonight
Hijole! Muy sabroso!
Betty Lou did a great job on the Angus steaks, mac n cheese and Brussel sprouts last night.I don't normally eat the spouts but I gave them a shot.... not the worst thing I've ever eaten. She fried them in lots of butter and garlic. Who don't like butter and garlic?
Tonight is a pot of beans with a ham bone (Plenty of ham on the bone), cheese cornbread and spinach salad. Crave this delicious meal in the winter.
Made the most of the hurricane survival food, tuna turned into fish cakes and thrown into the air fryer, not your traditional breakfast but it's one way of getting rid of the federal excess in the house.
