central wisconsin shooters
« on: January 14, 2015, 08:13:22 PM »
Looks like many of the posts in this gate are pretty old so I thought I would give it another try. I'm 44 year old Brad from Stevens Point. I'm trying to find other air gun enthusiasts in the area. It usually takes a while to stop making excuses not to shoot, so I figured if I asked now maybe I could find someone else to shoot by the time it gets a little warmer. My 50' basement gets old fast. I am planning on purchasing a small game license this year which opens up a lot of options as far as places to shoot. There is also plenty of ranges in this and the surrounding areas. Let me know if anyone wants to get together. We can shoot lead or just shoot the breeze.

Hi Brad, sitting over here in Sparta, waiting for the warmer temps also.  I'm ready for Spring.  Hopefully we can get a crew together sometime.

I'm from Brown Deer. I shoot in my basement and a league at Daniel Boone Conservation. The league is almost over.  Another 4 weeks to go.  I also host a monthly air gun shoot for Veterans at MATC South Campus.  Send me a pm for details.

Similar story in Waupaca.  Basement shooting in Winter, belong to the Land O' Lakes Conservation Club which has a rifle range,  During better weather I burn powder and shoot my louder air rifles.  Having a lot of fun rebuilding elderly Daisy 880's during the winter doldrums.

I've always found that twice as good costs four times as much.

Well guys, looks like the cold weather is coming back Sunday. I hope everyone got a chance to take a couple shots outside. FYI, I heard there is an indoor range of some type opening up soon in Wausau off 29 near 72nd St exit. Anyone know anything about it? I'll post any new info as I get it.

I make 2 predictions;
ON THE DATE WHEN US TROOPS ARE ISSUED AN Energy Pulse Weapon,
1. The US Soldier will have on his person a version of the Colt 1911.
2. He will be aiming the NEW Weapon at someone carrying an AK47.
