Powerline 880 Cleaning Kit Recommendation?

After getting out My Dads 111 Mod 40 and cleaning her up and shooting again I caught the urge to start shooting again.
Former USMC expert rifleman (5x) who remembers cleaning his M16A1/A2 weekly. I am finishing shooting my first can of Daisy Flat Nosed (aka Wadcutters). I have it sited in at 10 yards in a pretty tight group.
I have read where the Daisy Powerline 880 does not require as much attention to bore cleaning due to the obvious lack of powder residue.
But, When should I punch the bore and does anyone have a recommendation for a Cleaning Kit? I have seen plenty online (some of it confusing) and I want the best and recommended items. Are the felt cleaning pellets OK for this airgun?

Weedwacker line type pull through, if you have been oiling it regularly there should be enough oil in the barrel to just run some dry patches through it.

I use braided line for fishing. I cut a small slit in the end of a (3/32 I think) wooden dowel rod and feed the line down through the muzzle end. Tie on a patch and pull it through. If you don't have a dowel then a vacuum cleaner with hose (think shopvac) works to. I only use cleaning pellets if the barrel is removed and I push them through the breach end with same wooden dowel mentioned above. GooGone works pretty good to get tough stuff out for cleaning. When using googone I'll pull dry patches through until they come out clean. I don't use any cleaning rods what soever to clean the barrel of a pellet rifle. The 880 has a rifled barrel but the steal is not the same as a PB rifle. I love my old 880's, have fun.

They might sound like a lot of work till you realize you only need 3-4 pumps for plinking.

Generally you don't need to clean the bore unless it's a second hand gun and you don't know what's been through it.
You really only get residue from the protective powder on the pellets, and each pellet should clear off the residue from the previous shot.
