I had recently replaced the cross feed nut.Today noted that a large amount of slack was returning to the screw, and found that I had not tightened the screw securing that nut....long story.Anyway, tightening that fixing screw tightened that up again.It is possible that that had contributed to the chatter ??
I have been playing with my Logan 820 over a year and a half now.Most operations go pretty smoothly...except using the cutoff toolRunning at 3/4" 6061 @ 1070RPM has produced varying degrees of chatter, sometimes so bad that the apron would walk and I couldn't hold dimension.So........I reduced the RPM back to 740 and things are smooth and stable 740 is a bit slow from what I have read, but I'm not going to argue with success...
