I have no respect for anyone who abuses any domesticated animal and I believe that there is a special place reserved for them in Hades
Daughter #4 and her husband got a dog from the shelter. "Chance" is a German Shepard / Pit mix. He is a little high strung, but FREAKS OUT when he is left alone. When My Son-in-Law called the shelter inquiring about his past, he THEN learned Chance was found in an abandoned house where the the previous renters had moved out 3 weeks prior to the Landlord entering the space. Found him and took him to the shelter. Dog will probably have separation anxiety forever.
I’m definitely a dog person. So when I hear stories of dogs being treated like surplus, or forfeit equipment it boils my blood.https://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/americas/us-troops-dogs-left-afghanistan-b1911550.html?amp
