They changed the linkage! Mine has a round rod that goes under the center of the barrel which messes up the port. Obviously they decided this was no good and changed to a sliding side plate.
Since it looks like the case was punched out with the barrel, I'm guessing the cap on the end of the shroud caused a bend, mine had one of these when it first arrived.
And the hole around where the stock screws in looks slightly worse than mine, but mine is messy too.

Ok, so i guess this is where im at. I can sand down the sides of the stock for clearance to get it to function, or i just send it back. Zero idea if the barrel is bent or if anything internal is damaged/bent. Figure i will open up a line of communication to krale though.

If you modify the stock, I would just cut a groove where that mech. slides, not the entire inner side of the stock. Different lube might fix any drag as well. I have some AGS Cut-Ease wax that is normally used on cutting tools, but works great as a general purpose dry lube. Might be worth trying it. There is another tool type wax lube that I also had, but not sure where the tube went.

Might as well give it a go, i dont see them doing anything different unless theres a broken part to replace. Its max 0.01"i need to clear out. As for checking the barrel, would i pull the shroud and barrel and find a something flat like a piece of glass to roll it on, check for wobble? Really wish there was a parts fiche to help with disassembly.

Yes, that's a good way to check the barrel. Other than the shroud mount, pulling the barrel is pretty straight forward. My only concern would be wrecking an o-ring because it might be hard to find them. With the different port, you might be able to use the same as Puncher Breaker. Captain O Ring has a kit, but I'm not sure he is ready to sell it from the website. The barrel o-rings were a little bigger and I cut one on the rough port, put the stock one back in and it did not get cut.
Before you tear it down, might as well send some pellets. Mine had obvious damage where the front cap on the shroud was crushed into the tube, so it went back. I can't remember if I put pictures of this in my previous thread, but maybe.
I'm kind of sour on shipping anything into this country right now, my first shipment was damaged. the return looking like Freddy Krugger had opened the box and stuff was spilling out of the plastic case. Now yours is not in the best shape... Wish Air Venturi had imported these, now looks like Crosman might be the importer. Troy tried, but was prevented, hoping he can still get me parts when I want them (want a new barrel).
I'm also jealous of yours, I'm guessing you have a lot more potential there from the "standard" port layout. Wish mine had arrived with the updates.

Sounds about right, il send a few pellets through and see what happens. I agree, i really dont want to send it through the 7 layers of shipping *(&^ again. there is no visible damage on the shroud so it could be fine. The cocking lever is strangly loose and flops out after it shoots, little weird. when pellets come in, its shooten time

Check the screws on the side lever, it's common for them to be loose.
I'd send an email to Krale and let them know what's happening, might speed up the return process if you find it needs to go back.

Well this keeps getting better. Tried filling and its leaking out the barrel. Pump is fine. Tried cocking it n letting it fill. Nothing. Sounds like it's the firing valve stuck open? So says the internet. How do I get at that to fix it?

My Kral did the exact same thing upon arrival. Had to pull the valve and burnish the poppet to the valve with some lapping compound. I put the spring in a drill and pushed the poppet against the valve seat and spun it up to make sure it was creating a seal.

So how would I go about pulling the valve out?

Are you hand pumping? Mine does the same thing but my compressor eventually gets the valve closed. I work the cocking handle back and forth quickly to let the valve move a little. Sometimes it takes a couple of dry fires when compressor runs. Seeing the same thing with many Akela.

Gun should seal without having to do a bunch of extra measures. I only hand pump so the compressor was not an option. No scuba tank to fast fill. Was I burnished the plastic poppet to the valve seat it sealed fine from empty to full. Only really need to do it once, then just top off from whatever pressure you shoot down to.

I have a brand new hatsan spark compressor. i plugged the line while its on and it builds pressure so thats not it. i tried cocking it/dry firing relatively quick while trying to fill it. i think i have one other option aside from humping this current door knob, i have a small nitrogen tank at work that i may be able to find some fittings for. That seems like a hassle trying to setup but it would be the best bet. Would an air compressor 150psi range produce enough pressure to seat the valve?

I think a blast with 150psi would be worth a try.
I will say that after having pressure for a bunch of time and shooting around 100 shots, mine filled from empty much more easily. Keep an eye on the fill fitting too, I had to take mine apart and clean it, it wasn't sealing past about 2000psi. Was fine after disassembly and cleaning.
If yours is the same, you will see some brass set screws near the bottle to tube connection, and at the back of the tube. These are you bleed screws and on mine I can only use the back screw because the one near the bottle is just about worn out, I'm afraid to put a hex wrench in there until I can track down some replacements.

Success! Went to a scuba spot and they filled it up. Shot a few clips and everything seems to function well. 20grain pellets are doin ok for now, no shooting bench right now so accuracy is all on me. Bout a half inch at 15ish yards. Bipod would be nice. One question is, how hard do you crank down on the grip screw? I have a pretty small wobble, just done want to strip the threads or bend something. Almost looks like the bottle is touching the stock

The bottle on mine presses the stock open a bit. If you have an L hex wrench, put the long end in the stock and tighten with the short end, should be hard to over tighten like this.

Here's some preliminary results from a few pellets. Pretty much what greg stated. Hopefully I can do some diy dremel/drill work to get the 25s up to 850ish. One other thing i noticed is screws getting loose. Is this normal? Do i need to keep checking screws on this thing?

I haven't seen any screws getting loose on mine, but I also haven't put a lot of shots through it.
I was thinking of experimenting with the hammer spring a bit and see if that would give enough boost to get the 25 grain stuff up into the 800's. Low 800's would be fine with me. Real goal would be to get my 27 grain casting correctly, and be able to shoot them in that low 800 area. No more buying pellets after that if they worked accurately.

Also a little blue loctite might be needed, but with yours being the v2 the similarities might end.

FX 25.4s are shooting just under 750 for me. 26 grain fx hybrids are around 715. I think I have about 150 rounds through it. After that it seemed to be weeping oil from every seam, guess they are liberal in their application
