Hi All,So I am browsing around for a first PCP, thought i was going to get an avenger with wood stock but im getting hung up on the plastic covered breech and plastic side lever. Then i saw the Kral Empire X, looks amazing and has just about everything i want in a rifle. The only thing is, there really isnt a lot of info on it. Maybe one review and i would have to order it from overseas. So the question is, does anyone have experience with it and what about parts interchanging with other puncher models. I like to mess and mod with things so aftermarket support would be nice. Thanks!Peteroo
#1 it was damaged in shipping or customs...
I will also say that so far, all dealings with Krale in The Netherlands have been great, I won't hesitate to order from them again if I can't get something here in the USA.
Krale and Kral are two different companies.Porting out for power is not impossible, but the off center port will make it difficult. They drill the receiver port from the top and plug with a set screw. The process would be drill the plug hole out bigger, then modify the receiver port, and tap from a bigger set screw. Not a lot of ground left for this procedure. And only a little extra room in the barrel, but you could definitely cut an oval port to get a little air flowing. I'd like to get 25 grain pellets up to about 830fps which may be possible.I bought mine for lower power, I have a Bulldog for higher power with 80 grain around 100fpe and up to 145 grain for around 185fpe. I just want to get the more common pellet weights up into a better speed range. It shoots straight and is accurate at short ranges, haven't had the time to try 50 yards or farther yet.I did sand and refinish the stock... That walnut looks really good now. Wish we could get these sticks unfinished to save a ton of work!!!
I'll have to check my 25 X barrel, I don't think it was 1 in 17, seemed much slower than that.
