Right now the house is sealed and soaking in the fog. The cool factor is beginning to grow in the bar/mancave. It's really taking in an old wood country look. I love it. I have a wagon wheel light to hang. Some vintage guns are making their way to the beams, both PB and AG. LOTS and LOTS of cedar. Beer signs and sprinkles of Harley Davidson, John Deere and old western pics. Wanted posters and the like. Among highlights are a full stuffed bobcat and 8 point buck chest up mount. We hate closing it up and coming home at the end of the day. It's going to be awesome to come home from work, take a shower and relax in there. A fireplace would be awesome but there ain't one. Maybe add a wood burning stove later with glass doors.Nice. Thought about buying?Thought about it but, if he sells it the proceeds will go to the state so he is not motivated to do so. This way we remain the curators of his life... we are all cool with that. They cannot force him to sell but if something happens to him they will take it. At that point I would need to deal with the state.

Why does he owe the state? We had a hoarder house on our street. Lady was yapping to my wife about getting out of town. I told her I’d buy. She let house get foreclosed on. Yes, the whole street knows she’s foolish.
I had a lifelong friend like that. If he needed help I was there for him and when I needed help he was there for me no judgement and no questions. Whether the help was financial or physical we were there for each other. He passed from kidney cancer on Aug 27, 2003. I still miss his support in troubled waters. I could really use his level-headed counsel right now.
It sure will be nice to get settled and get this behind us so we can get back to airgunnin' and 4wheelin'.
We have so many plans.... seems like all we talk about.Betty Lou calls me at work at least a couple times a day.. "Hey, I was just thinking and .... "I told her that she needs to start writing some of those ideas down.
