I cast up about 50 slugs from the Lee 356 mold last night, powder coated them three times and sized them to .357 this morning hopefully they'll be much better shooters than they were dropping at about .354. They'll be the next slug that I try out in my .357 and the nice thing is they fit the magazine great. They average about 105grains.

The longer heavier g bullets with more engagement in the rifling might be a different story , I am thinking.... I just have not had the time to experiment more lately on my air gun's , I have been working on our house to get ready to sell ,to move to AZ , and going to the summer hot rod car shows with the car's I have , plus hitting the Columbia river ,and local lake's a bit with my boat's ,and jet ski's plus working on those ,plus 40ft fifth wheel ,and the vehicles that tow all of those , so when we move to AZ every thing has all the fluid changed ,and maintenance done to make the 1300 mile trip , so I then can concentrate on finding new land /house to live in ... so it's been a pretty crazy summer to say the least LOL ! a challenge for sure ! ...

Dan those short slugs shoot great from it but I doubt they'll be good for shooting a Michigan whitetail. I still might settle for using the longer heavier slugs, I just received a single shot tray (Bison) a couple days ago that will make shooting the longer slugs much better from it.
Meant crown may be "wonky" as in scratched up or messed up from the factory like someone else here had posted about theirs, sorry. The PC slugs are fine
The one in this pic is 123 grain in hollow point, I'll cast up half and half next run for cup point and flat nose and see how they shoot.

The PC slugs are fineI mentioned my crown issue. Mine was on 2 different HP models. I have an Element that has (supposedly) a Lothar barrel. It’s crown was correct. I’m not sure if the models you fellas are talking about are affected but it would be worth taking a look. Here’s a pic of one of the crowns/muzzle I had to cut off to get back to good rifling. I obviously cut a side away to get a good look. Dave
This is the crown of my AEA Challenger BP in .25. Can you please tell me what do you think, poor, good, acceptable?
Anyone talked to Bin lately, I don't want to call and interrupt him, but I'm curious if the plane full of challengers has arrived and when they'll ship.
