Amazon will send a replacement and may let you keep the defective one.  If they do, I would definitely send it to UTG, they'll send you something I bet.

That is obviously a 1” mount.

Probably it’s a return—unscrupulous original buyer replaced it with a 1” version, or it could be that the 1” mount was put inside that 30mm package by a sleepy individual.

There should be telltale signs that the item/package has been adulterated.

Must be your photo, but the package looks old and scratched up.

It's the photo and had the factory security tape in perfect shape as well   little parts bag was unopened .  In all had that new mount smell..

We'll see tomorrow.   I got to have a cool off period before I say more then I need to...lol

I may let my sister handle it . She a Amazon prime orderer.   I'm sure she's been down that road and knows just how to handle it..

Ya, something for quick and simple turned in to a ordeal..  again...lol

Guess I better put some rust protection on the  rifle .  Or throw a package scope on it I got around. There mounts work correctly unlike utg.. sad.😭

Well something you could heat it and beat it to make it right is one thing and had to do that a lot , but something like this needs to be correct from the start.  Factory straight and true

I mean jack around on a 17$ mount and put a nice scope on it just to find somehow or gets the tube ?   Naa the scopes worth more then the mount to have a oops. (Opinion)

I called around to everyplace I could drive to for a mount and then one in 30mm and or stop pin.  No dice .or was fully mail order or nothing.

Nobody got nothing but same as Walmart and funny they sell 30mm scopes in store but nothing to mount them with. All 1 inch and weaver / picney rail only..  .. go figure.   Yet sells several air rifles with 11mm dovetail as well  but nothing to mount a scope on one.

Oh well, one day all this will be nothing but water under the bridge..

I used these 30 mm rings to mount my Hawke scope on my HW95 and so far they have been excellent.

I can't see anything that looked after the fact .

The box was as pristine as any.   I put dowls in it and looked good and true.

The yoke measure small vs. the good side Fe at a true30mm

Could not get a good pic

Funny thing is that I've had issues with a Hawke one piece mount where the top strap screw holes were in different positions in the two top straps which interfered with the scope tube. A call to Hawke and I was told to make sure that the caps were placed on the same saddle they were mounted to when in the box. Still, even when the top straps and saddle screws matched up one set of screws was too close to the edge of the saddle and still rubbed the scope tube..........

LOL....I've owned quite a few "cheap mounts" (Hawke wasn't expensive but also not cheap) and newer had mis-aligned screw holes.

Funny this mount the caps screw holes all match up. Swap them any way you want.  just the back bottom semicircle is undersized.

Nope, they only fit when the top straps and saddles are matched, and as mentioned, even when "matched up" after putting the scope tube in the lower saddle the screws would bind when tightening. Evidently this was "common place" because the "Hawke Tech guy" is the one mentioning that the "correct cap has to be matched with the correct saddle". Here is a pic of some of mu unused scope mounts where one was modified by adding two extra base screws, and another had the rings "lined" with J-B weld so the rings matched a scope perfectly. This was all done trying to get the scopes mounted satisfactorily without success, however the only mount where the top straps couldn't be switched was the Hawke..............

It's ok.   It's a Amazon issue as far as rma/ refund or exchange.

I just sent them pictures and a note on it just to see.    If they answer fine if not ,well it's not like I bought it from them so to say.

If they are concerned about there product quality or customer/end-user satisfaction of there product  they should respond with something you'd think.

Just want to see how much weight this holds
