Do you have something that you can temporarily give up and keep setting aside the money? This would be a way to extend your compressor budget.
I donít recommend being as drastic but I quit smoking a little over six months ago with the intention of putting all the money I would have spent on cigarettes in an envelope each week for a year. At the end of a year I will have saved enough to buy an Alkin without having had to change anything financially. Iím going for air independence first and I figure the Alkin is as close as I can get to a ďforeverĒ tool so itís worth it to me.
Otherwise look at buying a yong heng someplace that offers an add on multi year replacement warranty and when it burns out, get it replaced. Repeat as needed.
Even a 68 cubic inch 4500 psi paintball tank would provide a handful of 3000 psi fills depending on the gunís reservoir and would get you started at half the price of the 90ish cubic inch units (small Benjamin tank, small Omega, guppy, etc.)
Iíd bet you could get running for around $500... yong heng, warranty, small tank, etc.
