I've been doing some more thinking about this.... but no machining yet (shop is too cold).... If I use a 1/4"-20 TPI thread for the adjuster, using a bolt with a hex head and put the adjuster the right distance behind the pivot I can get 30 MOA per turn, or 5 MOA per flat on the bolt.... That distance works out to 5.73" behind the pivot, which ends up in the thick web behind the loading port, about where the round Kral Logo is, depending on the exact placement of the pivot point.... I can use a Disco hammer spring or similar in a 5/16" vertical hole in the web, just behind the adjusting screw, with the top in a shallow hole in the adjustable ramp rail.... I am going to try and get at least 200 MOA of adjustment (2 turns on the dial).... I plan a clamp bolt to pinch the sides together onto the Kral rail to lock it in place, and I have a piece of 3/4" x 1" bar stock I'm pretty sure is
just
long enough.... The thinner sides should clamp more easily onto the Kral rail when I tighten the pinch bolt.... I can mount the existing Picatinny rail on the top of the adjustable ramp.... Getting closer to making chips....
