Hi Tony,
Welcome to the group, I have about a days worth of playing with a condor's top hat and that was a stock setup so I don't know if I will be much help but I'm willing to try. I bought a .25 condor from Steve as a Donor for a .257 build and decided to shoot it as a .25 for the day, I spent all day playing with the top hat on that gun. I got one of Doug's valves for mine and it should be here tomorrow, I plan on putting it all together and trying it one day after work, can't wait.

Lol, I ordered my valve from PCP tunes. I wanted one of Doug's valves but I couldn't afford $250 for a valve and another $100 for the hammer.  So, I did some research and found one thats a complete package. Ordered a talon tunes carbon fiber tank to have a higher fill pressure and a 28" barrel. Have a 24" .257 barrel now with r&l valve and hammer. But it's only shooting mid to low 800's with 74gr slugs. So, hopefully this will put me around 1000 fps with this setup.

Did you get the rl shroud as well, I wanted one but I got the 32" barrel and they didn't make one for that barrel.

Holy cow, 32" barrel?!  You should be able to generate some serious velocity with that yard stick of a barrel.  You can always make a custom shroud for it if you want though.

So that means it can make even more power then if the power wheel is on 3, right?  You can do some for real hunting with that bad boy.  And I thought Trinh's Texan was long, lol!  Time to order some carbon fiber tubing and get creative for a shroud maybe, I bet that thing has quite a bark to it :D

Great looking rifle.  Are there coyotes in your area? You and Trinh really go through some guns  ;)

No, I haven't ordered a shroud yet. I'm still debating on that part. I'm thinking of shooting swagged bullets out of mine. If I go cast, it'll be the 68 gr hollow points I saw. I figured this would be a good hawg/predator control gun to have. If I can make around 170 fpe I'll be happy

I will have a 24" .257 barrel and heavy hammer for sale soon. The guy I bought the gun off of said it was all rl stuff in the gun, but at power wheel 3 it's only shooting mid 800's with 74 gr cast.

These guns don't shoot faster at higher power on the power wheel. It's kinda a trade off. Lower settings get you max velocities while saving on air.

I missed my Air Force gun. They are really well built. I am contemplating of getting a Talon Pistol for my son but need something backyard friendly. I think RL makes a shroud for one .

They do, but I think the Talon Tunes shroud  is a little bit better

I've been eye balling this, but I want the rifle of it. I agree with JC, talon tunes has a better selection of shrouds.

I think the rifle will make a good platform for a custom big bore, maybe even better than the airforce frames. I want to see it in .257 or 308.
