Hear Ye, Hear Ye!
The 6th match of the 2021 season is now open.

Due date for the scores and a scan of the target sheet for Match #6 is Sunday July 4th 2021.

The pellet shortage has affected my scores in a significant way. My 853 really likes RWS Basics and JSB Simply's much more than Daisy Wadcutters, of which I have a few thousand. During the shortage we drove up to the Kittery Trading Post in Maine and the only pellets that they had were the Daisy Wadcutters in boxes of 500 for $3.99. We bought all of them, 12 boxes. They are ok for plinking and practice but not for higher-level competitive target shooting. Fortunately I was able to get a score worth posting with some Crosman HP's from Walmart. Now they're out of them too.
I also tried the CHP's on the Olympic sized targets. Disappointing. With the better pellets I usually score in the 170-180 range. With the CHP's, 150-160 is about the best I could get so far.

Waited till the last minute again. It seems no matter how many times I say I'm going to shoot and turn in my targets before the last Sunday, lately, it still turns out to be the last Sunday. Shot all my targets, pistol and rifle, this evening, one after the other.
Great shooting Bryan! Wished I could do that with my CMP 853. Ammon, I want that 853 back. It looks like it's shooting MUCH better than mine. Lol.

Thanks Mike, you too...yes my 853 is a joy to shoot. You got an X for which you should take credit.
We drove up to the Kittery Trading post yesterday and picked up a box of the fancy pellets in the Styrofoam lined box and we'll see if it makes a difference.
Where in Missouri do you live? I did my post doctoral fellowship in St Louis a while ago.
