Would you please consider increasing your settings in SMF for Signatures>Maximum width of signature images (pixels)? Right now it seems to be set to 350px, but I would suggest more like 700-750px.
Also, could you add a <<Prev>> <<Next>> page navigation to the forum? Something like this mod should work: https://custom.simplemachines.org/mods/index.php?mod=1075. It would really help going to the previous and next pages when browsing on touch devices.

I increased the max image total file size from 200MB to 350MB to help folks a while back. I'm not sure I want to increase it more. You start using up screen space, especially in a sig.
As for the previous/next, I believe we have that already. At lease I see it below right under this text box.

Not to mention the bandwidth used for some sigs!
Huge sigs in another forum I am in are a big problem! after a few posts by some people? I won't even view the thread.

I'm not talking about image size as in file size, I mean the width of the image in pixels. I'd like to have more horizontal room, not bigger file size. If you want to avoid images in sigs taking up too much vertical space on the page, you can also limit the image height to something like 150 pixels.
As for the next/previous issue, what we currently have is a way to go from one topic to another (which you can turn on or off in the SMF settings), not a way to go from one page of a topic to the next or previous page (which needs a mod to be installed, like the one I linked).

I'm trying to make my sig shorter (vertical page size-wise) and better formatted by using a table in BBCode, but it takes a lot of extra hidden characters to do and I'm running into the 500 character limit. Can you please increase the character count to around 1000? You can do that in SMF settings Signatures>Maximum allowed characters.

I will consider all requests. But any mods to our setup 1) costs for programming and 2) can cause issues if they crash or cause other issues.
If there is a real need for these, I have no problem with it. But one request out of 15,000, doesn't justify a change. Sorry if it's an inconvenience to you. I can't fit all I want into my sig, I own 90-100 airguns myself and wouldn't mind . I've learned to live with what is set up.
I don't want you to feel cut off at the knees, I just want you to understand why we don't make changes on the fly for every request made.
I do appreciate any input and suggestions.

I understand. I'm not trying to cause any problems for anyone! I only ever suggest things I think would be a nice change for everyone, not just for me. But I'm a guest here and respect your decision. Thanks for the consideration.

See if the changes I've made help. If they cause any issues, what I have adjusted are easy enough to revert.
