Thanks guys. But, there's really no 'magic' going on. What allows for the extended, extremely flat shot string is turning it down via the VMS adjuster. This does a good job of leveling out the spread in velocities. The other 'attention to detail' stuff listed in the initial post also helps. It also helped that I had a 58 gram MDS hammer left over, which was about the right weight for this setup. Add in a TSS, and we're in business. It's turned all the way down right now. There is gap on the main hammer spring, and the adjuster for the inner is all the way out. Opening up the VMS and cranking up the inner spring would surely make it shoot harder, but would also reduce shot count and consistency. For shooting in the back yard, the gun is perfect the way it is. It is DEVASTATING on birds, and shoots one hole groups at 30 yards. I probably won't mess with it.As for using a regulator. I'm VERY HAPPY with the Lane regulators in the other two guns. All I did was go to his site, tell him what kind of gun, energy, etc... and he did all the math. He chose the pressures, volumes for the plenums, etc... and hit it out of the park. They were CHEAP for what you get as well! For TWO regulators/plenums and four rebuild kits, the grand total came to $189 SHIPPED from the UK. You just can't beat it. They are also easily adjustable. Mine are set up exactly how he sent them. The .25 Marauder is flinging 3 full mags of 33.95 grain JSB Mark II's at 840 fps. (53 ft-lbs) Turned down, it will do SEVEN magazines of the 25.4 grain pellets at the same velocity! LOL https://www.gatewaytoairguns.org/GTA/index.php?topic=127998.0Rocker1 sells the MDS hammers now. I believe they are $40, which is money well spent. You can literally HEAR the difference between stock... and a Rocker1 MDS Hammer/WAR TSS combination. ZERO hammer bounce, and a much quieter rifle. The .22 is ridiculously quiet! Unregulated, the 58 gram hammer from WAR worked out great on this gun. The regulated rifles had 39.5 grams on the .22, and 42 grams on the .25. One thing of note... do not tighten the Allen screw into the MDS hammers very tightly. The nylon will swell out and make it drag in the tube. Use Loctite, and just screw it in snug.I had purchased a WAR reservoir extension and Hill extended shroud that holds 13 baffles... but I see no use for them. lolGood Luck!
