Hey Keith,That nylon brush I was telling you I use is a 7 mm, works great. I couldn't remember the size for sure so I just went and mic'd it, 7 mm.

I do see a Dewey rod at PA and a .25 brush, but will search again for 7mm. Enjoyed our get together and appreciate your help with my .25 cal issue.
I've never cleaned my barrel or lubed pellets. Mine is super accurate at 50 yards. It shoots JSB's and JSB Heavies equally well. Heavies are 890 ish up to above 900. JSB's are a bit faster. Congrats on your fun shoot victory.
It looks like so far that the JSB 25.39 or MKIIs is the cats meow for the .25 GM barrel which I have plenty of both. I was reading some reviews on some H&N pellets where some said they were accurate in theirs, but doesn't seem to be popular by the members on here. I did purchase a tin of 33.95s that were not labeled MKII and was not impressed trying them without lubed at the fun shoot. I think they may have a different skirt but have not compared them yet.Travis told me to back the velocity down to 47 FPE because that was the sweet spot so I will give that a try after a brush cleaning.I do believe I will be able to get the gun shooting 1 MOA at 50 yards consistently eventually and if not, Jim Gaska told me he has a HF barrel available in .25 cal and I will get it near Christmas if that's what it takes to reach my goal.

33.95gr JSB MKII
The heads are the same diameter, and also the same as the 25.4 gr. Kings.... The skirt on the Mk.IIs is the same as on the 25.4 gr. Kings, whereas the original 34 gr. King Heavies had a larger diameter skirt that didn't feed well in some magazines, and was even tight in some barrels.... Most guns seem to prefer the Mk.IIs, but of course you should try both in any gun....Bob
I've been a little behind lately but back to the op my best pellet for 50 yard shooting has been the pred polymags closely followed by the JSB MK2 33.9 That was before I installed my regulator, tuned for 32 shots at 44fpe. Hopefully I'll have a chance to go out later and shoot 2 new groups and poat pics. I now have the 40/40 tune with my regulator in, actually tuned for 42.3fpe
I can't speak on much experience with H&N as I have only tried one of their pellets, but results were TERRIBLE, pellets didn't seem top quality.. so I decided to stay far away from that brand personally. They seemed to lack lube and were REALLY tight trying to chamber.Polymag out shoots JSB for me under 30 yards but I have yet to do lots of longer range testing with that pellet.I think for as good as the GM barrel is, it likely won't quite compare to a 100$+ aftermarket one such as the one you're used to on the .22 cal, unless you really win the barrel lottery. When purchasing my .25 cal, I actually went through 3...you read that right, 3! All because I ordered benji domes with them and first rifle they had a 5 inch pattern @ 15-20 yards!, 2nd rifle = 4 inch paterrn, 3rd rifle = 3 inch pattern, I was a complete noob to pcp's but at that point I tried a different pellet with that same rifle and BAM, stacked pellets for days. I concluded the batch of benji domes I received were very poor quality which were noted with head deformities. I technically went through 3 barrels/rifles and IMO..the 3rd one was the charm and imo shows you how much variation you may get from barrel to barrel.

He is sending me some barracudas to try. I use to love those in my stock .22 barrel. They will either work or they wont in the .25, but at least I get to try them.I did order some Polymags in my PA order along with a Dewey rod and some JB bore paste. I will clean/polish the barrel after my mod to the barrel as part of my new Cobra valve work. Hopefully this will work out well. At least I will know it is truly clean. The Jim Gaska/Marmot Militia HF barrel is awesome in my .22, but didn't see an option to order one for the .25 cal on his website. I don't have the option I'm assuming you had in swapping barrels under warranty either, but haven't even come close to giving on my .25 barrel yet.
