As a newbie here it took no time at all to become deeply indebted to Robert.  Not only was he generous with his knowledge and expertise, he was engaging in the way he shared.

I hope his family can take some comfort in his freedom from pain, and for the number of new friends he will continue to make as a result of his good works.

For my part, I send my most profound condolences.

Bob and Gene had a vision to create a great forum and succeeded.  A testament to two great people.  They also had the vision to leave it in good hands.
Sad they had to leave us.

Rest in Peace
Remington Express .177

Quote from: JoeV link
A rifle is like a woman. The longer you work with them, the more comfortable you become with them. You learn their little nuances, and either adjust to them and have a winner, or get rid of them and get a new one. No rifle or woman is perfect, so you have to have reasonable expectations for both. Just the ramblings of lifelong shooter and 43 years of being with the same woman.

Wow, this is certainly a blow.

Losing both founders of the airgun forum we've all used, studied, and loved is really hard to believe.

Bob, one of your triggers still sits in the Benjamin Trail that I sold to a friend. It's not mine, but it's not far away either, and has served the both of us very well.

Rest in peace, good sir. Hopefully we can continue on and do both you and Gene proud in the future.
