:( I just received a PM from Jim's daughter Stacie Kleitches this evening and she provided her e-mail. Apparently Jim passed away March 18 and he asked that she let us know of his passing. skleitches3667@gmail.com
Jim was one of the first people to greet new members and we shared another pleasure . Jim and I both shared a passion for Science fiction / Fantasy novels in particular the Dragon Riders of Pern series by Anne MacCaffery . We all lost a good friend in Jim our sport will miss him as will I. My thoughts and prayers are with his family

Perhaps He is riding his own Dragon now, battling the HNo3 threads. He will be missed.

I only knew him briefly on the GTA and shared several PM's back and forth concerning the novels which we both enjoyed immensely. When they first came out I would snap up the hard cover versions with each new release. Unfortunately my ex got custody of my entire hardcover collection of the Pern novels

Do remember reading his threads / posts ... seemed like a great fellow indeed.
Condolences to family & friends .....
