Terry, thanks for the pic it will help a lot. I have not taken mine apart yet. I will try and get that done tmrw. I spoke to Eric at Precision Pellet and he has a rebuild kit for it that he is sending to me. He said I could make a tool to get the job done and explained how to make it. I was also able to find a solid front roll pin on Ebay. It was the wrong length but it is being replaced with the correct one from the seller. The spacer between barrel and air tube on mine seems to be made from brass ? I will keep Bryan & Assoc. and Baker Air Gun in mind if I can't fashion a tool for the job. Marc.
Out shooting my 108 and in the sun I could see a the end of my barrel spacer, it is brass? Just assumed plastic.
Well, I'll be dipped. The spacer in my 108 is made of brass, after all. I never would have suspected it. When I saw Marc's gun with the black finish all buffed off and the brass color of the spacer, I thought it must be some home made part or a rare variant. I guess they were all made this way. Just another example of how Crosman went all out on this model. All this time I thought it was their first use of a plastic barrel spacer. I am amazed.
Yea, things can be hard to tell if it's metal or plastic. My fail safe is to touch it to my lip, lol.
