Almost Master at 100 yards!
«

I was out at the range again this morning shooting some video footage for my Youtube channel and nearly got Master at 100 yards. All shots landed within the 2 MOA, but the CTC was over 1". I did get it on video, but it's hard to see from 100 yards away where each shot lands until I go up to shoot footage at the targets. Wind was variable around 6-10 mph, which is light for this area
. I attached a picture of the group being measured and will include link for the video once it has been edited. I will get master at some point, but at least I shot a perfect 50 for the 100 yard match!

That last little bit is probably going to be the toughest I agree.
Here is a video I made while shooting the groups that day

That is very close Jim! I have fun trying no matter what though. It's great lead therapy.

Thats good shooten Tim, especially with the wind. I am always amazed what these "TOY" guns will do and have to think a little bit of luck is involved to put 5 in a 1 inch circle. I try to shoot my submissions eary morning or late evening when the wind is gone, I am horrible doping for wind.

I agree to a point on the luck aspect, but there needs to be a bit of skill to get them close enough to luckily land inside an inch. Similar to a hole in one playing golf. Certainly each time I take aim at the target my goal is to hit dead center on that target. There are lots of factors at 100 yards that happen from the time I decide to pull the trigger and the pellet his the target. That is probably the thing that makes long range shooting so much fun to me, some skill is needed to get tight groups, especially when shooting outdoors.
