Thanks for your opinion..... Yeah I understand the one hole thing, has to do with producing a full auto...lower. Anyway having capabilities an using 'em is two different things. You can't get into trouble for something you're not doing, now can ya?.

For $1500 you can get a very capable manual machine. https://www.grizzly.com/products/Drill-Mill-with-Stand/G0704 Heck for $1750 you can get that machine with a set of DROs. I always suggest people new to machining learn to machine first (manually) before trying CNC. CNC adds many aspects to a machine job but the basics have to be there. CNC does not make up for "I don't know how to machine a part".
