Back Room / Re: So if you didn't do anything airgun related what did you do today?« Last post by Sqrl Klr on Today at 04:54:06 PM »Did some kayak fishing out in Millington TN Congrats that looks like a quite peaceful time with a good meal out of it too! Is that a Sevylor kayak? I had one of theirs back in the day too kayaking on the lake. I had a electric pump which aired it up quick. I liked being able to deflate and drive it home without tying it to the top of the car. 2

Back Room / Re: Good morning! Are you up yet? What's your plans for today?« Last post by Madd Hatter on Today at 04:47:47 PM »Winter took it's time getting here but seems to be taking it's time leaving. We're just now getting to the point where the nighttime temperature isn't dropping below 40. 40 is the cut off temperature for my wife's flowers to stay out all night. I've got 8 potted flowers that I've been dragging out of the garage in the morning and dragging back in at night. Been doing that since early fall. Thank the Lord I don't have to do that until fall again.🎇🎇🎇🎇 BUT, I'll probably be digging holes so she can replant them in the garden.😞

That looks divine mercy! Ask the butcher at your meat shop to cut it for you. That could last me a couple weeks. Mighty yummy food you're all posting guys congrats! I'm finally done with all the tasty thighs so I'm baking up another slab of baby backs in peach juice at 250 for four hours then caramelizing the bbq sauce and seasoning on them for 10 minutes at 500. Between that and those chicken thighs I could live off those two exclusively and be just fine! I did enjoy a honey crisp apple and a roma tomato too. 5

I just take the opportunity to practice my artistic nature by drawing shapes with pellet holes. That or try and knock every single spec of paint off my steel targets. 7
Machine Shop Talk & AG Parts Machining / Re: oring internal to barrel or on bolt?« Last post by Rick67 on Today at 04:02:04 PM »A .177 MROD barrel would also work if you pair it with a .177 Fortitude bolt and probe assembly.
It’ll be a single-shot though; use a MROD SST, file the base a bit, then voila 👍 My PROD uses .22 MROD/UMAREX Gauntlet SST, but I had to sand the bottom a bit (1 mm or so). 8
Daisy Gate / Daisy 747 Pesky Intermittent Leak« Last post by Ronno6 on Today at 03:59:42 PM »My first 747 reseal.
Not going as planned..... There was an audible air leak heard from the breech when the gun was cocked and pimped. First attempt, the exhaust valve seemed to me a touch loose in the valve body. Could it be that simple? Nope..... First time....total silence........no leak. Second try............leak. So......... I replaced the exhaust valve with a NEW one. First cycle...........NO leak, Ahhhhhhhhhh Second cycle.........LEAK. Grrrrrrrrrr Tried another new valve, and the same old leak.... So, I replaced the O-ring valve body to pump tube. NO LEAK !! Or, so it seemed. Never heard a hiss...... But, I had not replaced the piston O-ring, and I wanted t be thorough. Re-assembled, and..............LEAK !!! What else is there to try??? 9
