Well, as my collection started to grow I quickly realized I needed a storage solution. I browsed the net, collected some ideas and came up with this. It was originally intended to be wall mounted but it really doesn't take up much floor space. The rack can be made larger just by adding additional stand sections. However, I don't know how many stand sections one could add before it becomes potentially unstable. If you wish to wall mount it, you will have to add some additional blocks to the back to screw it into a stud.
Be aware, this rack was custom built to fit my maximus and modified 1377. If I had a high scope mount I would have had to extend the base section length to provide for a steeper gun angle.
It was a quick and easy project that turned out to be quite handy. I can email the plan if anyone is interested.
Gotta go pump some air and send some lead downrange...

Yeah great idea Frank! Treated lumber, some polyurethane and you're good to go. Darn it, now I'm gonna have to build one for the porch of my cabin...

Good looking gun rack. You can add more and all you would need is some legs in the back at an angle to counter-balance the weight.
Moved to Simple Home Projects.
