Yeah, it's just like a B3 except the safety. But it was simple enough. Have you ever disassembled a B3? They're a videos on it. You have to take the trigger out to get the compression chamber out. (the shinny chrome thing) The spring and piston will come out with the trigger still in. The anti-bear trap device also push the safety to safe.On my WF600P the chrome compression chamber wouldn't come out. I found it has a dent in the top of the receiver. How it got there I can't remember. I must have done it. It's okay I can still clean it and change the breach seal.I just tore it down to check the seal. It's the plastic snap over the piston type. I cleaned it, mollied two pennies and dropped in the compression tube to be in front of the spring, mollied the spring guide and stuck just the ends of the spring(3-4 coils) in the molly can. I don't put anything on the spring to reduce twang. Twang in and of itself doesn't make me miss. Springs unloading are suppose to twang. Today I mounted a 3-9x32 Barska scope on it. I plan to shoot and chrony it tomorrow. Also scoped a .177 Crosman G1 Extreme a friend gave me. I'll try to shoot and chrony it also.
This morning I went no further than removing the stock, and discovered I had worked on this type once before. It has a two piece rod, between the lever and piston. B3-4 When cocking the rifle, if it makes a grinding metal to metal sound it is that rod needing grease, between it and the bottom of the receiver where it rubs. Took me a while to figure it out on the first one! LOL I kept taking it apart and examining it. Anyways this one was dry as a bone, also, so got lubed.
I shot my old WF600P. It shot RWS Hobby W/C's around 450 fps. I tried couple other. But the hobbies grouped about 1.5 inches. Nothing to brag about.MY .22 BAM B3-1 AK was tac driving. The .177 Industry Brand B3-1 chronied 560fps with a leather seal. Just a little increase. Groupped okay. The Crosman G1 Extreme shot .177 RWS hobbies 7grs about 830 and Norma pellet about 780. Holes touching. Loved those new Noma W/C'sAlso shout my two old .177 Crosman storms. Both with GRT triggers, One's in a Benjamin T/H stock. Both holes touching. Both loved the Norma W?C's.
So I opened this up tonight after supper.... didn't get far...had to order a piston seal...big chunk missing. It smoked when I first tried it, but the inside of the piston/spring was dry as a bone. Spring was nice, no burrs, no metal particles floating around. Now wait for the seal!

I have thought about removing that front sight assembly and use a B3 metal clip an d mount a barrel weight/muzzle break. What does the front end of the barrel look like? I mean is there any groves, cuts or smaller diameter? Or is it straight and flush?
What does the end of the barrel look like?
