Looking for a rifled daisy model 99 barrel
Tex D.:
I'm trying to find a rifled replacement for the smooth bore barrel on a couple of Daisy 99s. The barrel is obviously .177 I.D. 11.2" long with .260 O.D..
I purchased 2 crosman nightstalker barrels. I had a very reputable person on here tell me they were the correct O.D.. I was either sold an incorrect item or he was incorrect. I don't want to have to turn a oversized barrel down. I'd really like to find one that is already the correct size and reasonably priced. I'm not worried much about the length as I can cut it if necessary. Thank you in advance for all your assistance

You might do well to read the requirements to gain access to our classified gate and post a WTB there.
Our members are more apt to respond once those requirements are met.

daisy 99... isnt that a early 499? not sure what you want to change them, but i would go with 880 rifled liners, an turn them down to fit. are you gonna weld them to the front cap? you want to shoot BBs out of them?
Tex D.:
The 499 was the predecessor to the model 99. The newer model 25 shot tube is what I'm using. I was going to epoxy the end of the shot tube after I was confident that I had done everything possible to accurise it. I do plan on using Daisy Match grade BBs. I'd like to see if I can come up with something as accurate as the 499. The barrel in the 499 isn't long enough and uses a different threaded abutment to use as a replacement so it's a non starter. I'll look into posting on the classified forum as that may be the way to go. Thanks for your interest and responses. I appreciate it.

if you need a more accurate, 499 like barrel, that is longer look at the Barra 400e barrels... available for sale and silly accurate, but still smooth bore
