The TX and HW97 are both top quality springer's. Both are very well built and as accurate as can be. Some people perfer the HW do to its larger loading port and some perfer the TX for being smoother out of the box. Personal preference really. I like many thing on my HW over the TX and equal amount of features on the TX over the HW. You can not go wrong with the TX or the HW.

I like the underlevers for a fixed barrel rifle configuration. I don't have a TX (yet), but really enjoy shooting my Beeman HW97K in .22....it's pretty much without any real faults, and just stacks pellets without any fuss. I like the walnut options on the TX and have one in my "sights", too.

I don't think you can go wrong with either one. I chose the TX mainly because I love the stock. I wouldn't be opposed to one of each like s10gto has!
