25cal Hatsan 125TH - 25 shots at 55 yards
«

Well today I finally was able to shoot the 25cal Hatsan 125 this afternoon.
I bought this rifle from cherokeesteve thru the GTA classifieds, a few years ago. He gave me a really good deal on it too.
He had bought it new then he went to the Darkside and had not shot it much.
The sun is out now but it was cloudy and snowing while I was shooting.
Once again I was shooting from a rested and seated position out of my upstairs bedroom window.
The pellets that I was shooting were 25cal H&N 19.91 gr. Field Target Trophy domed pellets.
I hold this 25cal Hatsan 125TH in real tight. No artillery hold on this rifle !
I placed a target box out under a big oak tree at 55 yards.
There are three 3 inch stick on targets on the box.
With the 25cal Hatsan 125 TH, I was shooting at the center target. (the hits on the bottom target were from a different gun)
I took 25 shots with 24 of them hitting a 3 inch stick on target.
I had 1 flier that was 3 inches high and 3 1/2 inches to the right.
It measured 4 1/2 inches high & right as measured in a 45 degree diagonal line from center.
I could have jerked the trigger on that one or I may have clipped a branch. Either way it was well off target.
Todays weather was not bad at all with a temp of 32 F and a 10mph east wind. I was shooting due west.
Todays Weather:
Mostly Cloudy
32°F
0°C
Humidity 82%
Wind Speed E 10 mph
Barometer 30.10 in
Dewpoint 27°F (-3°C)
Visibility 10.00 mi
Wind Chill 24°F (-4°C)

When I went out to check on the target, I spotted a pair of Red Shouldered Hawks that were out in the woods feeding on a gray squirrel that they had caught.
After I retrieved the box, I then got a pair of 10x binoculars and watched them for quite a while.
The larger one was a female and the smaller one was a male.
I had see the larger one earlier on March 6th and posted about it in the Hunting Gate. >

I posted in the Hunting Gate about what I saw today.
Today was quite a rewarding day !
