Actual Mod95 spring from Hatsan received Dec 2022:I measure...13.875" free length UNSET42 active coils0.125" diameter wire0.495" ID0.745" ODI'd get them from Hatsan if they have them in stock. My first choice after Hatsan is Vortek.I'd like to see a Vortek part number 745125-42 but do not see one on their website. Maybe they can suggest the best "close" spring OR maybe they can make one?

I have contacted Hatsan and I did get a reply from them. Also emailed Jim from ARH and he has something similar. Hopefully I can get it working better.
Somewhere in the catacomb's in GTA is my first and only experience with a Hatsan... it too was a model 95.It shot 20% under the rated speed brand new out of the box... and back then Hatsan's ratings were supposedly to be actual... not pie in the sky.Hatsan blew me off here on the forum publicly when they were a presence... PA stood behind it. Not draggin them through the mud again but I will never own another.Wonder if you got my old gun... LOL!
After making sure the piston movement was smooth inside and yes Yogi I did deburr all the sharp edges on the barrel prior to reassembling with the new spring. I focused my attention on the front end. Barrel/breech/transfer port. There were some burrs where pellet is loaded. Hard to get a picture to show it. I did lightly took that out. Also notice that the port has smashed in port outlet. I’ll try to take picture of that. Anyway I smoothed that out too. Rechecked it again. Improvement of fps to about 695. Think I’m getting somewhere here.
That’s strange I could not find that part too in the diagram that mike sent. It goes to that port where my finger is pointing in the pic
