Chris, on my PS, I actually brace the butt on my hip or the bench seat, hold the gun up close to my body, grab the lever and then push the gun forward when cocking it, rather than the usual holding the gun steady and pulling on the lever. Actually find the PS to be pleasant to cock and load with this method. This is one example of how I adapt to shoot springers with my strength.

Depending on the preload, you should be in that ball park. It's a 37.7 lbf/in spring, against the 12 ft. lb. UK spring at 30 lbf/in.
