My one complaint is that the rounded bottom on the fore end of the stock isn’t as comfortable on the hand or as consistent with the artillery hold as a flat-bottomed stock is
Jim, that's very helpful with the O-Rings. Do you usually also do your lubrication at 5000 round intervals, or do you think they need that more frequently? I'm counting off the tins on mine to keep track of that.
I installed an ARH "softer" .122 spring to lower the cocking effort and harshness in my .22 HC- it's definitely a little nicer to cock and shoot with minimal loss of velocity.https://www.airrifleheadquarters.com/catalog/item/251488/9004105.htmHave fun!

Is it a 12fpe spring, or just a bit less powerful than the factory specs?ThanksR

So it still cocks harder than a 12 fpe spring would, but it's not as stout as the factory spring.*** But, maybe mine was a .125 not a .122- he shows a product update date newer than when I bought mine.... Let us know how yours works out.
What did you do to the stock for it to turn out that great?
