Fussell:
Thanks Marty, yeah I'd like to try it with my .177 Thomas, but have the Hector Sightron on it for FT and it's set for 9 to 55 yds. Get's real fuzzy after 60yds. I rarely shoot it passed 50 yds anymore, so not gonna mess with it.
Waiting on my other Hector Sightron to get back today from being reparallaxed to 10yds to 300 yds, so I can use it for this 100 yds stuff.
Took a real long time for me to get comfortable at 50 yd shooting, so this is a whole new ball game. Appreciate everyone's help.

Heck, shooting a Veteran Long in .22, even with its CZ barrel I feel like I'm bringin' a knife to a gunfight. This contest distance has gotten serious!

Also optically center the scopes on them and mount with Burris adjustable rings. 3 of those rifles have FFP scopes and the turrets are moved up 3.5 on all when shooting at 100, which does surprise me because the are 22,25, and 30 cal.

Thanks Ray, So your sighted in at 50 but turning your turrets 3.5 revolutions up when shooting 100. Not using hold over?
I've got Sightron on both FX with FX No Limit rings. Or will have when the 500 gets here.
When I mounted the No Limit rings on the Boss, I had scope optically centered and was able to put the vertical within a fraction of an inch with ring adjustment. Horizontal was only off maybe an inch at most. Which I corrected with the windage knob.

Yes I do use the turrets, because I have tested to see that they are accurate and repeatable. I use hold over sometimes to compare and get the same results. The scopes have been set up using the mirrow method and also have a bubble level. Have you tried 100 with less than 30x. I would try 16x or so and dial to 30 to check impact if needed.

Tony, best I've done with my .22 Cricket is 1.2 inches, but have shot many 1.5" at 100.
Shot three at 1.5" back to back in one sitting and gave up! LOL So, I know what you mean about the knife to a gun fight.
Wasn't going to join the NUAH club until I could get a sub one inch group.
But when I got this FX Boss from my buddy Derrick. I zeroed it at 55 yds and was printing one big hole with no flyers for about 4 groups at 55 yds.
Then got some paper out at 100 yds to find my holdover. Once I determined it was a little over 7 stadia down from the crosshairs. I shot a sub 3/4" 5 shot group on the very first try. Now it was nowhere near the X ring, but my first ever anything like that? I almost crapped my pants?
I immediately called Derrick to ask if he had sent me weighed and sorted pellets? LOL. He said no. And everything I've shot since has been straight from the tin. So, I have a whole new respect for .30 cal!
I jut never thought I would love .30 like I do? Heck it's worth it to pay twice the money on pellets for twice the accuracy? LOL
Edited in for Ray......
Ray the lowest power I've used so far is 20 power. I'm just comfortable with 30, so I can see what I'm doing as I'm doing it! LOL
Fussell:
Name....Burgaw....Jimmy
Airgun....FX Boss
Sights....Sightron SIII on 30 power
Pellet/Bullet ....JSB .30 cal 44.75 gr unsorted straight from the tin
Position....standing bench , front bipod, rear bag at 106 yds from back porch
Wind.....dead calm
Score and Group Size..... 50/50 4x and 0.925 ctc
OK, I step out on the porch after feeding all the critters and trying to make up my mind to shoot or head to Hardees for breakfast this morning. I noticed it was dead calm? Ha, that's a no brainer….breakfast can wait.
Aired the Boss up to 250 bar. I always put a splatter target on the barrel under the NUAH target and shot it first to get my bearings.
Shot five shots at it, then proceeded to shoot the NUAH target. First shot was dead in the bulls eye. Second shot was high, then three more shots in the bullseye. I knew it was a good target from looking through the scope, but was still concerned about the flyer messing everything up?
Holy frikkin' Moly. It scored a 50/50 with 4x's and measured 0.925 center to center. Yeah baby….I can hear Rick Rehm say "Come On Man" in my head.
Peace and NUAH grease
