i own a .22 (actually searched for that caliber) tx and i use it 50/50 hunting and target work. mine is detuned and shoots 14.3 CP at 670 fps, but is super smooth which in turn makes it crazy accurate. I can hit a golfball at 100 yards 10 out of 10 shots. And hunting, since my max hunting range is 40 yards (120 ft) it has plenty of punch for game up to squirrel and crow. For smaller birds i can extend to 50 yards, as a .22 will do enough damage to kill immediately witha body shot. it is very accurate but you will find that 8 out of 10 people would have bought it in .177. mostly because they would use it for FT or HFT. I would not give mine up for anything in the world.
