I have a chance to buy a new one, but want opinions, first. The reason for a .20 is that I already own a dozen Sheridans & have pellets everywhere !
Are they very " hold sensitive ?
Are they hard to cock ?
How is the recoil ?
How well do scopes hold up on one ?
Thanks for all replies !

I got mine off amazon for about $140 a year or so ago. The reason I bought mine was I wanted at least one .20 cal. in the collection and the VMX was the least expensive option. I filled the stock with old used or cheap pellets I want shoot to help tamp down the recoil. I haven't shot it in awhile but I didn't have any problems with scopes. With the scope stop as it comes I would have had to use and off-set mount. I moved the stop to the front screw hole of two and slid the front mount(used two pcs. mount) back against the stop and had good eye relief.
Trigger pull was 3 lbs 8 oz. I replaced the adjustment screw with a longer one and got it down to 2lbs 10oz. There is and explanation of this trigger mod in this gate.
