every time i've shot one, i've gotten all hot and bothered.  i would most certainly trade my CDT Turbo Tuned CFX Royal .22 to get a TX200.

I hope to have one by next summer. Set up a savings account just for it. I tried both the ProSport and the TS200 and TX will be my choice. But now I gotta decide on .22 or .177.

YUP! If I figured out how much I have spent on lower end springer's and such I could have gotten
at least one TX200 and had money left over for a nice scope. Sniff Sniff just a minute get me a
hankie! But I had fun with those guns so it was worth having them just for that.

all that i have shot were .177.... easy to load, a pleasure to shoot.... for punching paper, i'd go .177 for cheaper ammo, and more inherant accuracy.

Ha, ha!  Hey, if I get tired of my BAM40 (TX clone), I'll sell THAT to you, as well, to tide you over until you get the real thing.  Now this one I KNOW has been tuned, LOL!

I thought about getting a tx200 and opted for a b40 and stuck with it why?because b40 are no longer being sold in  the U.S. or europe so ill keep my baby i thank you (redfeather) for pointing me to that tuner you reccomended me too i made contact with him and we supposed to do buisness next month so i can finally give ed a break lol NOT!!!!lol. I also have a r9 clone a rws320 that two well known tuners will be working with so while my babies arent the real deal i can live with the 85 to 90% of the real thing since these girls will be kissing paper and not feather or fur.So no maybach for me lol ill keep the lexus lol.

454,

I too agonized over spending "that much money" on a single AG.  But a good deal on one that had less than 50 pellets through it presented itself.  Once it was in my hands I understood why they cost that much.  Never regretted it.  I then put a cheap Osprey scope on it and shot FT for a year.  I had to re-parallax the scope and it did okay.  Once I started shooting better I realized something with the accuracy potential of the TX deserves better.  I then sold off some other toys to add a Hawke 8-32x56 Sidewinder 30mm scope and found a really good deal on a DIY laminate stock.  The other thing is that it shoots like a "tuned" gun out of the box.  No cost for any tune or upgrades.  Plus I'm going to sell the OEM stock to recover some of the cost.

Sorry, not meaning to make you drool more but they are awesome!  Save up because good deals come up fairly frequently on them.  I just saw a like new one go for $425 shipped and I think one recently sold on another classifieds for $380.

Selling off some other unused toys was well worth it.  I love this gun more than any other in the collection!

I love my B40 and it shoots as well as the one TX200 I've shot.  However, it will never be a TX and if you love a TX nothing else will satisfy you.  The metal work on a real TX is stellar and the B40 is nowhere close to the polish and bluing that the TX has.

Get the TX and never sell it.

IF, i sell the scope i'm trying to... i will also try and sell my big cat, and a CP4-16 scope... basically pull madd pennies together to try and get one... i could not imagine being able to pull that much $$$ together anytime quickly... mabey with taxes this year... but thats not likely either.

Larspawn, any real issue loading the TX200 with the 16" scope?  I have been looking for a real good tac driver and scope combination.  Been looking hard at the 6-24X56 with SR12 reticle.
