Trenier emailed to say he finally had the JSB Exact Heavy .20's in stock so I ordered 3 tins plus one of the JSB Match Yellow 8.02gr wadcutters to try in the new to me Beeman R7 .177.
I have been trying to ignore WesBobs Summer sale, but this gun in .177 has been beckoning me since I got one in .25 some time back, one of the smoothest bolt action airguns I have experienced, and been wanting to see what this will do with .177 slugs. Artemis M11 MK2 .177 https://airgunarcheryfun.ca/artemis-m11-22-and-25-caliber/ I guess that answers the question what air rifle will be my next
Last week I bought a Umarex Walther CP88 which is so much fun that I bought a Diana Airbug (with red dot sight) today. I am hooked!
I ordered a Instapark Riflescope Mount from Amazon, it is especially made for Magnum Airguns. Hopefully this OnePiece with Dual Rings Lock Down and its Multi-Bolt 5 Screw Scope Mount with Stop Pin will stop the scope creep on my Walther Parrus. https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B001A7NGOO?ref=ppx_pt2_mob_b_prod_image

I mounted it on my Walther Parrus .177 , I tightened the snot out of the five dovetail screws, stop screw in stop hole...... first pellet it moves back. I tighten more.....after 10 pellets it had moved back 1/8 of an inch. I packed it up and my wife is dropping it by the UPS store today.

If the stop pin had enough engagement it should have held. Unless the pin sheared or plowed through the receiver? Didn't we just solve this on an R9?

If the stop pin had enough engagement it should have held. Unless the pin sheared or plowed through the receiver? The pin bent almost 40° and also egg-shaped the hole in the receiver. Didn't we just solve this on an R9?Yes we did just solve it on my R9 with a Sportsmatch mount. Today I ordered another Sportsmatch mount to use on this rifle. I hope the Sportsmatch mount will work, this rifle has the most recoil of my four magnum springers.

Make sure the roll pin is sunk to bottom of the recoil hole. That's a rolled spring steel pin and there's no rifle on the planet that's gonna break or bend it.Ps if the gun is that violent you should have ordered a Dampa Mount because now the scope is the next weak link.
