I finished my grips for my 2240 today. I do not think they came out to bad for my first try. I think it looks better than the cheap plastic ones for sure.

Thanks. I made them all by hand. Hand saw wood rasp and sand paper. The black walnut with a clear coat looks good I think.

They might sound like a lot of work till you realize you only need 3-4 pumps for plinking.

Nice job, I'm going to be making my first set tomorrow and I hope they turn out that nice.
I have completely reshaped my grip frame and they should be much easier to make.

Yes they sure look and feel better than the plastic ones. They were not hard to make I just traced the plastic ones and went from there.

I'll be making some a bit oversize from the stock ones to fit my hands better, but I doubt they'll look as perfect as you got there.
