First ratting trip with the Leshiy 2

Don't judge the setup with the double stack IR flashlights,  getting Mlok pic rails for the sides of the handguard.

Still learning the gun and left a couple misses in there,  enjoy!

That looks like a lot of fun. Loved the shot between the beams where you could only see his eye. Great shot!

The one slo-mo I really noticed was the very last shot, was too dazzled by the rapid shooting pace of the overall video to notice slo-mo shots anywhere else... ;)

Yeah i use a Pard 008lrf, its a night vision scope that can record when you press a button.  Really an amazing piece of kit.

When you go on a ratting trip, what happens to the rats? Do you use lead pellets? Is this a form of pest control? I had never heard of ratting until I starting looking into air rifles.

I'm not one who enjoys watching the rats die. We had a bunch getting into our garden, at least a dozen, and I ordered the Daisy 901 and a Rattinator trap. The trap got here first and I ended up drowning them and leaving the bodies past the wood line as an offering to the forest. If the rats are shot with lead then that lead will end up in all kinds of animals. A few bald eagles died in Maine due to lead poisoning from animals shot with lead and fishing equipment.

Yes it's the definition of pest control at a dairy farm.  Yes using lead pellets, we leave them where they lie ( it's a friends permission and I follow their lead )

Other rats eat them, often we will shoot an area and come back to it 20 mins later and most have been pulled into their burrows.  Coyotes eat them also.
