The smallest caliber PCP is .17 cal,........ so are you asking what is the biggest animal we killed with the tiny .17 cal ?
Somethings I’m not real proud of...or want to lead others towards. Didn’t “we” (the board) give Gamo fits when they posted their “gamo..springer..hog..177” vids.In gross anaology: When all alone, folks will pick their noses….not something to promote, take pride in, or post videos about.Normally, want penetration on bigger critters...and . 177airguns don’t really have energy to spare. Expansion can limit that, so for little calibers don’t see expanding pellets and big critters being a plus.If you are going to try your hand at .177 and larger critters, make it a powerful PCP and heavier pellet or slugs. Will be a narrow wound track, but one deep enough to get to the good bits.
