You get used to the side lever on the DAR, but I like the straight pull bolt on the Avenger better. The aluminum magazine in the DAR is nice, but I find loading the Avenger magazine easier and it has a shot counter. The mounting rail on the avenger is slightly better. I really like the wood stock on the DAR, it's also shaped nicer than the Avenger stock to me. You can tune the Avenger without removing the stock and it has a much higher shot count per fill. The Avenger also has a second gauge for the regulator pressure. I believe the DAR is quieter but, I can't compare them in the same caliber. The DAR is $90 less than the Avenger. Those are the main differences I have found so far.DAR probably has better customer service, but it's basically a one man show. If Joe is not there, you are wasting your time calling. I have been in that position myself, it not worthy being the only person that knows anything.
Quiet enough to take gray squirrels back to back on several occasions. One example I caught on scope cam:https://www.gatewaytoairguns.org/GTA/index.php?topic=168899
I was looking at these on the DAR website. I think there are about 3 pictures of the gun. I was trying to look at the muzzle end to check out if it has a band, how it is attached, fill port/cover. I looked at their Facepage too but didn't see any. Anyone have pics?
Ha they took it down. LOL
How loud is the .22 DAR? Hard to equate but is it back yard friendly? Do you need a moderator for quiet shooting.
