That is obviously a 1” mount.Probably it’s a return—unscrupulous original buyer replaced it with a 1” version, or it could be that the 1” mount was put inside that 30mm package by a sleepy individual. There should be telltale signs that the item/package has been adulterated.Must be your photo, but the package looks old and scratched up.
It's the photo and had the factory security tape in perfect shape as well little parts bag was unopened . In all had that new mount smell..
Amazon will send a replacement and may let you keep the defective one. If they do, I would definitely send it to UTG, they'll send you something I bet.
I have ordered things said to be more than likely not up to par so to speak, and got way better than expected, bummed me out because I wanted to tinker with a dud Maybe we can trade places like them weird movies do
Deeco.... could it have been duck footed and bent?
I used these 30 mm rings to mount my Hawke scope on my HW95 and so far they have been excellent.https://us.hawkeoptics.com/tactical-ring-mounts-30mm-2-piece-9-11mm-medium.html
Funny thing is that I've had issues with a Hawke one piece mount where the top strap screw holes were in different positions in the two top straps which interfered with the scope tube. A call to Hawke and I was told to make sure that the caps were placed on the same saddle they were mounted to when in the box. Still, even when the top straps and saddle screws matched up one set of screws was too close to the edge of the saddle and still rubbed the scope tube..........LOL....I've owned quite a few "cheap mounts" (Hawke wasn't expensive but also not cheap) and newer had mis-aligned screw holes.
Again.... very strange.

Swap them any way you want. just the back bottom semicircle is undersized.
I guess matching caps or not if the scope tube don't fit all the rest is for nill. What a joke..So far still no reply from leapers yet. I'd like to hear there 2¢ worth.
