Well, I'll see if this jumpstarts anything. I haven't yet, but I'm very interested in trying to make some small .177 "arrows" to take frogs. Really, just big darts that kill and pin them down at the same time to minimize escapes. Just gigging with a pistol basically. I just had the idea so I'm going to start researching....

There's another thread a couple down from this one where we discussed this same topic. I'm waiting on knocks from Pyramid to finish mine. I'll post some pictures and a detailed how to when I get them done.

Well I can tell you this, a crossbow bolt will fit perfectly over a Daisy 880 straw barrel.
