Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers.  We are back from the doc-in-a-box. Got some prescriptions for expectorant and cough medicine.  The doc says Sophie isnít as sick as other people she has seen this month.  She said to notify her if Sophie feels worse.  The good news is she is now on track to receive monoclonal antibodies.

Up, coffee's and shower'd...
Work began on the bathroom upgrade at Killer's yesterday and will continue today. There is no production at work today or tomorrow due to the microchip shortage. I have the option to work, take vacation or no work/no pay to save my vacation time. I've decided no to work but have yet to decide whether to burn vacation time or not. I'll have a look at the finances and decide.
Today I plan to pack up the inhouse gun room (pellets, compressors and tools) and move it down to the new place.

My Blue Max chainsaw is on its last legs so I bit the bullet and purchased a Husqvarna Rancher with the 24" bar. It cost X3 more than the Blue Max but I am on my second one already after three years so I would have been smart to just get the Rancher three years back.  :-[

Good morning GTA! I feel like I slept in too didn't get up until 0545 CDT. My wife is in the garage going through boxes from the attic. We've washed two loads of clothes and I hung them outside (doing our part to save energy).
I just opened up a new tin from a new lot# of 4.52 FTT 8.64 pellets for my R9. (I have 18 tins from that lot #.)
I noticed they are hitting about a 1/4" right at 30 yds. I'm gonna shoot about 100 to tweak the scope to new pellet lot.

Good morning GTA family! Up at 0430 CDT. Forcast shows rain for the rest of the week and into next week so my shooting is pretty much on hold.
Yesterday I shot my R9, shot about 150-200 pellets at 30, 35 and 40 yards. I was planning on shooting farther out to 50 and 60 yds but it started sprinkling and I came inside. I was shooting at spinners most of the time yesterday as paper can get boring. I still have less than 1,000 pellets through this rifle so it just keeps getting better and better.
Today I'll just watch movies I guess.

Good morning GTA! Up at 0530 CT. The rest of this week Iím training a new guy for Russellville. Hopefully, he works out and Iíll have some good help for the week. Then heíll go off into his own territory, or train with someone closer to his area next week. This morning we have to work on a freezer acting like a cooler. Iíll find out what this guy can do, technician-wise. Itís my job to make sure he learns all the stuff we do. If he knows how to fix an air conditioner, cooler or freezer, itíll go a lot smoother.

If I wasn't so old and broken I would look for work down there. When I first broke into HVAC I did commercial walk-ins, ice machines, and whatever else my bosses sent me to work on. The worst was a 440VAC  steam generator that someone else diagnosed and he missed the two grounded elements at the bottom of the stack. PS the plasma arc took most of the hair off my forearms and singed my beard mustache and eyebrows. Needless to say, I went home after that adventure and suggested that I never follow that putz to finish his diagnostic repairs  ::)

I hear you, Don. I wish I couldíve either stayed up north, where my work was good (but expensive to live) or started down here when I was younger. Thereís plenty of work down here and not many good technicians. Itíll make an old man older down here. I do all I can do to not snap on some of these jokers. I just do the best job I can and forget about it.

Good morning GTA! Up at 0430 CT. Getting ready to roll out. Iíve got to wash my van, then meet the new guy in Ft. Smith. Yesterday was a pretty good day, hoping today will be good too. Our first call will be air conditioning. It got so hot they closed the store yesterday.

Good morning GTA! Up at 0530 CDT. Turned on the TV to check the weather.  Forecast shows 90% chance of rain, it worries me that the weather man suggested that we wear a larger raincoat today and take two extra umbrellas. ?????  Our regular meteorologist is on vacation and this young guy is filling in, you could tell he was nervous, he got east and west mixed up too. Anyway it started my day off with a laugh.
My wife is up in the attic already so I better go help her get some more boxes down.

I have an eyeball appointment at 1300 hrs.  I kinda' need a haircut in the opposite direction and I need to put For Sale signs on our travel trailer.

I'll probably shoot a pellet or two today, too.

I snuck out before Nicholas arrived and put a dozen 24.7gr pellets through my .25 caliber Hatsan Mod 125.  This gun has broken in now after 2 months and probably 1000 shots.  Accuracy is outstanding now.  Better than my .22 Mod 125.  Now Iím listening to the rain come down and trying to find the phone number for my dentist. :(
