Good morning John and GTA! I also got up at 0500 CDT. Happy Friday indeed. It's 59° woo hoo. I've sitting on the patio in the dark drinking coffee. I've had breakfast, gathered the trash and garbage together and when I finish my second cup I'm going to take it to the road. Feels great sitting out here in the cool.Yesterday morning I bought a new washing machine and yesterday afternoon I dismantled the old one down to pieces saving the screws, wiring, springs etc. When I take my trash to the road, I'll put the plastic pieces from the old washer in the box the new one came in and leave that for pickup. I'll pull the trailer over to my son's scrap metal pile and drop off the metal from the old machine.

The places I had always used locally for parts have very little inventory now and say they can order it, to which I say... I CAN DO THAT and have it delivered to my house! It was going to take almost two weeks to get the motor. We had my daughter, 4 of her kids, and three of our great grandchildren staying with us for about six weeks (long vacation from Idaho), so I bought a new washer. I then repaired the old one and it sits ready as a spare. That washer was new in 2006 in the last 8 years I replaced the start capacitor, transmission drive, timer, door switch, and the motor. So it is a almost new old spare, that I will likely eventually end up selling or giving away to a needy person, right before I need it. lol.

I probably could have repaired this one but neither of us liked it. We actually thought about replacing it last year because we just didn't like it, the tub was small and we missed some of the features the newer ones have.
Two 21 shot volleys, one at 8:46 and a second at 9:03 this morning. US flag gets hung up-side-down for the day and I'll remain in prayer all day as I go about my tasks as I am still here to do them while my brothers and sisters that perished in that cowardly attack, cannot.May God bless you all.
Back then, I did what I could -- and that was to donate blood.I received this t-shirt. It is getting old but I still wear it each year on this day.
Mornin y’all. Still sick with Covid. We may have to take our daughter to the hospital today. She is not improving. Wish us luck!
