I built two using a stainless gas tube and Crosman 1740T valve and fill port. The shot count was low so I thought why not make it longer? The latest version has a 12" long gas tube, 1720T valve and fill port. Got a whopping 933.4 fpm with JSB 8.44 grain pellets.

Pete, that looks really nice. I would like to know more about your 2240.
Where did you get your stainless steel tube, and approximately how much does it cost?
Is the valve already drilled and tapped for three screws?
Are you running 3000 psi?
Is there a build thread for this one?
TIA.

I assume you mean feet per second, otherwise it's going to be quite a slow walk to the target
Great performance from a pistol and in a very attractive package to boot.

Hunter I got my tubing from onlinemetals.com. It is $25 for a 3 foot long section. I pump it up to 3,000psi and yes, I meant to say feet per second muzzle velocity. I am working on a build video but it's not ready yet. the valve I use is a standard Crosman 1720t or Benjamin Prod. It already has 3 tapped holes on the side.
